Ithaca’s Homeless Crisis
Project Overview:
Dozens of people were living outdoors without housing resources available as winter approached. I took initiative to fundraise, advertise, and engage the Ithaca, NY community to help those in need.
Project Scope:
Nonprofit Ad Campaign, Fundraising & Public Relations
Results:
I directed a commercial and led an advertising campaign that raised over $8,000 in one month.
The commercial received 13.9K views on Facebook.
The Facebook page received 900 likes.
Dozens of volunteers were recruited.
Food & clothing donations were collected.
The money raised went towards propane heaters, supplies, and food for our homeless friends in the encampment.
